The main goal of this app is to have Fans and Hirers connect with Musicians in United States eventually Global.

App will serve as a social media platform for Musicians to promote themselves to Hirers and Fans.

Personas

We wanted to form a deeper understanding of our users’ goals, needs, experiences, and behaviors. So, we created 3 personas for each of our user segments. We used these personas to determine what is needed for each of our 3 user types:

  • Fans
  • Musicians
  • Hirers/Venues

The creation of these personas was not merely a checklist exercise but rather a deep dive into the unique characteristics and aspirations that define each user type. By delving into their motivations, preferences, and challenges, we sought to unveil the intricate layers that shape their interactions with our platform.

Design System

We set up a design system to accelerate our design process and our collaboration with the devs.

First, we conducted a visual audit of the existing design, documenting all the design elements of our components, including grids, colors, typography, spacing, and sizing.

We made these into reusable assets in Figma. With the design system implemented, our collaborative iteration process has improved.
